Qualicum Beach is an area the locals call Oceanside. Made up of charming towns and framed by mountains, forest and beaches, Oceanside is one of the most scenic places in Canada.
The Globe and Mail has referred to Oceanside as "Canada's Rivera" and Better Homes and Gardens has named it "Canada's Best family friendly beach destination."
The VIEP Conference 2020 will show case local expertise. Over the last few years we have experienced a lot of emergency events, and we have learned a great deal. Remember the windstorm just before Christmas 2018? What about all the flooding, forest fires and crippling snow? Right here at home we are mitigating, planning, responding and recovering from public emergencies all year long and we are the experts.
Our conference is all about building networks and collaborating to ensure we are continually enhancing our skills. It takes a lot of volunteers to pull the conference together and the generosity of sponsors and trade show exhibitors.
